Yan Fossat

Senior Vice President, Klick Labs

Yan is the principal investigator of Klick Labs, a group of R&D researchers and engineers working on digital health: Digital biomarkers, digital therapeutics, and medical devices.

The Lab team produces basic and applied research. Activities range from proof of concepts, prototypes and pilot studies, all the way to design and execution of Randomised Controlled Trials. Yan’s expertise lies around using evidence-based methodologies with the goal of improving patient outcomes or commercial objectives, and in combining disparate analytical and technological modalities in entirely novel ways.Before joining Klick, Yan co-founded a digital health agency where he spent 17 years on digital medicine technologies.

Yan holds an M.Sc. Biological Engineering from l’École Polytechnique universitaire de L’Université Côte d’Azur, and is an associate professor in the department of Modelling and Computational Sciences, at Ontario Tech University.

He has published numerous papers in journals such as Nature Digital Medicine, or Mayo Clinic Proceedings: Digital Health, and holds a number of patents.
