Krista Rouse leads the Consumer Products organization, consumer research, AI and design team for The Weather Company digital properties, which includes The Weather Channel (weather.com) and Weather Underground (wunderground.com) consumer products. She works with her teams to discover, analyze and solve consumer problems by applying new technologies and practices.
Previously she was vice president of research and analytics before expanding her role to include the development and execution of a product innovation strategy. She also served as director of weather products and weather.com, leading product strategy for all weather forecasting features on apps and web globally, and has led the company’s privacy strategy. Prior to joining The Weather Company, Krista worked as a product manager and technical project manager at AOL for nearly 12 years.
She has served as an active steering committee member of the Alliance for Integrative Approaches to Extreme Environmental Events, which works toward a society that is safer and more resilient to environmental extremes through innovative partnerships, transformative interdisciplinary research, and effective knowledge mobilization.
Krista is a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in political science from the State University of New York College at Buffalo.
